📋 Description

• Partner with the People Tech Product Owner and People Operations stakeholders to define and prioritize the HCM product vision across Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Time & Attendance. • Conduct requirements walkthroughs and workshops; identify and document use cases and functional requirements. • Gather requirements for Workday and integrated-system improvements and document user stories and acceptance criteria. • Build business and technical workflows focused on the employee lifecycle and HR compliance. • Analyze People business processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, standardization, and data integrity. • Facilitate cross-department communication about upstream and downstream process changes affecting Payroll, Benefits, and HR Reporting. • Manage epics and user stories in the product backlog and align stories to business personas. • Perform and facilitate User Acceptance Testing for implementations and Workday upgrades; create test plans and align test cases with requirements. • Prepare information for Change Control meetings and obtain approvals for system releases and deployments. • Use datasets to solve complex issues and support business decisions while protecting sensitive employee and contractor data. • Troubleshoot and resolve Workday and People Technology system configuration issues. • Collaborate with Product Owners on strategic initiatives and technical feasibility. • Research HRIS/HCM best practices and propose enhancements aligned with industry standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role • Strong understanding of HR and Payroll business processes, controls, and compliance considerations • Experience supporting Workday HCM, Payroll, and Recruiting modules • Experience utilizing data management concepts to maintain data integrity across integrated systems • Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data • NetSuite experience or another enterprise ERP platform preferred • Workday Pro, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP certifications preferred • Ashby experience preferred • Pigment experience preferred • Experience with Agile methodologies, writing user stories, and managing backlogs preferred • Background in the K–12 education industry preferred • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Background check required if selected
