📋 Description

• Lead and manage large singular teams or multiple smaller teams of field-based MSLs, PDLs, CTLs, and similar professionals • Deliver client-specific project KPIs and contracted deliverables • Direct and facilitate recruitment, second-stage interviews, assessment centres, candidate selection, onboarding, and induction • Ensure field teams have appropriate therapeutic and product knowledge to engage compliantly with healthcare professionals • Manage daily field-team implementation, execution, performance, retention, and expansion • Implement overall client strategy and strategic field plans • Set, monitor, and report on KPIs • Provide consultancy to clients on localized planning and medical strategy • Create internal, external, client, leadership, and quarterly business review reports • Gather insights to inform future strategy and solutions • Conduct performance management, appraisals, remuneration processes, coaching, training, and pastoral care • Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships • Monitor project status and resolve issues with Medical, HR, Finance, and Account Director stakeholders • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes with Talent Acquisition, HR, Project Management, and clients • Translate programme requirements into operational tasks and KPIs • Manage employee relations, contractual issues, absence, disciplinary, and performance matters • Conduct regular field visits and one-to-one meetings • Maintain scientific and technical expertise, therapy-area knowledge, clinical literature, treatment pathways, and product knowledge • Establish relationships with national and international key stakeholders • Support teams at national and international congresses when required • Manage budgets, offers, travel and expenses, forecasting, financial systems, and ROI • Support renewals, redeployment, leaver processing, business development, and process improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Educated to degree level or equivalent – scientific field highly desirable • 3-5 years prior experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare, including understanding of drug development • Demonstrable experience of people management • Critical appraisal of scientific data • Fluent English • Knowledge of compliance framework for field-based medical roles • Knowledge of industry codes of conduct • Demonstrable experience working in a fast-paced environment • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages • Ability to travel globally as required • Full driving licence essential • Solution driven with the ability to work collaboratively • Exceptional customer focus • Exceptional listening skills and ability to present workable solutions • PhD or MD equivalent highly desirable • Therapy area knowledge and/or experience highly desirable • Fluency in at least one other language highly desirable
