📋 Description

• Coordinate project technical planning and design with execution • Support the sales team during tender submissions by ensuring technical compliance with relevant standards and regulations • Provide guidance on specification CDE and technical submittals • Work with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to turn successful tenders into deliverable designs • Review proposed designs and confirm the proposed solution • Prepare project-specific design calculations • Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders • Support manufacturing and production teams during build, assembly, and testing • Review O&M manuals and training materials • Act as the technical point of contact for live projects • Support Project Management during vendor calls, on-site delivery, and commissioning activities as needed • Assist RCA reporting through collaboration with the Quality team • Reinforce employee training, development, and engagement • Complete other tasks assigned by the Line Manager

🎯 Requirements

• HNC/HND or a degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience • Experience with LV/MV switchgear, control panels, and electrical distribution systems • Strong understanding of single line diagrams, protection devices, and electrical design principles • Ability to interpret technical specifications and produce accurate engineering documentation • Working knowledge of BS/IEC standards relating to switchgear and controlgear assemblies • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills • Travel required as part of the role, expected to be less than 20% of contracted time
