📋 Description

• Identify funding opportunities, monitor donor trends and support strategic positioning with institutional, foundation and non-traditional donors • Coordinate and lead the development of high-quality, compliant proposals, concept notes and funding submissions • Collaborate with country offices, programme teams, finance colleagues and external partners on proposal development • Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, NGOs and other stakeholders • Provide technical support and capacity strengthening to country teams on programme design, proposal development and donor requirements • Support multiple country offices globally and undertake up to 30% travel, including occasional travel to field locations at short notice

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated success securing funding from institutional and non-institutional donors • Experience supporting complex proposal development processes, including consortium bids • Strong knowledge of European donor mechanisms, grant management requirements, proposal budgeting and donor compliance regulations • Experience managing the full proposal development cycle from opportunity identification through donor submission • Excellent proposal writing, communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams • Professional-level French language skills are essential • Experience supporting humanitarian programming in fragile or conflict-affected contexts is essential • Familiarity with UN funding mechanisms and US Government donors is desirable • Right to work in the UK • CV and one-page cover letter required • Advanced pre-employment checks, including criminal records self-declaration, references, and potentially police and qualifications checks
