📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance server-side automation services using Python and Playwright for complex, headless browser-based workflows. • Architect and build clean, reusable Python-based client wrappers and services that expose stable, versioned APIs for desktop clients (e.g., EMRs like Epic). • Lead and contribute to the architectural design of our custom automation platform, ensuring new services and components integrate seamlessly. • Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies to ensure system transparency, proactive issue identification, and efficient resolution in production environments. • Partner closely with product managers, data scientists, AI engineers, and other engineering teams to translate complex requirements into technical solutions. • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and conduct code reviews for junior engineers, championing best practices in Python and system design. • Implement comprehensive unit, integration, and functional testing strategies to ensure the highest quality and reliability of all developed components. • Participate in interviewing and onboarding new team members.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of deep, hands-on experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on Python development in large-scale, production distributed systems. • Exceptional proficiency with Python and its modern ecosystem for building complex, scalable applications. • Demonstrable, hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining automated systems using server-side, headless browser frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Puppeteer). • Strong expertise in building and operating applications within large distributed systems architectures. • Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs to expose system functionality. • Intimate knowledge of and ability to implement unit, integration, and functional testing strategies. • Experience providing technical leadership and guidance, and thinking strategically and analytically to solve problems. • Friendly communication skills and ability to work well in a diverse team setting. • Demonstrated experience working with many cross-functional partners. • Demonstrated experience leading a software product or component vision and delivery plan.
