📋 Description

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance services across more than 130 customer sites under Annual Service Contracts • Plan, coordinate, and execute preventative maintenance activities • Ensure ASC obligations are delivered within agreed service levels and contract requirements • Maintain service schedules and support resource planning • Monitor contract performance and identify opportunities for service improvements and renewals • Inspect, service, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair industrial gas equipment and related systems • Diagnose equipment faults and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime • Commission and recommission equipment following maintenance activities • Support emergency call-outs and reactive maintenance requirements • Comply with Health & Safety policies, risk assessments, safe systems of work, industry regulations, standards, and customer site requirements • Complete permits to work, method statements, service reports, maintenance records, and inspection documentation • Build and maintain customer relationships and provide technical advice • Escalate customer concerns and support resolution of service-related issues • Maintain asset histories and update service management systems • Produce recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and replacement works • Track and report key service performance indicators • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery efficiency and reliability • Support best practices and standardised maintenance procedures • Contribute to technical knowledge sharing and mentor junior engineers where appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related discipline • Experience in a field service, maintenance engineering, or industrial service environment • Experience managing preventative maintenance programmes across multiple customer sites • Knowledge of Annual Service Contracts and service delivery requirements • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, utilities, process, gas, HVAC, fluid handling, or similar engineering sectors • Full UK driving licence • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability on mechanical and electrical systems • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, technical manuals, and specifications • Knowledge of preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance techniques • Understanding of industrial safety standards, risk management, and safe working practices • Experience with commissioning, testing, and performance verification of equipment • Competence in preparing technical reports and maintenance documentation • Working knowledge of pumps, motors, controls, instrumentation, variable speed drives, and associated equipment • Understanding of industrial gas systems and related plant equipment • Excellent organisational and planning skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality standards • Flexible and adaptable approach to changing operational requirements • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and customer stakeholders • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
