📋 Description

• Lead AI/ML and data engineering projects across ASG portfolio companies • Partner with operating companies to design, build, and deliver solutions • Build data pipelines, model integrations, internal LLM applications, APIs, and supporting infrastructure • Develop LLM-powered tools and workflows for business operations, productivity, and product capabilities • Identify opportunities to commercialize data through products, features, and analytics offerings • Advise engineering and data teams on AI and data adoption • Share practical guidance, examples, and best practices for AI/ML and data engineering • Support training sessions, workshops, and working sessions • Establish repeatable patterns, playbooks, and best practices for AI/ML and data solutions • Collaborate with portfolio leadership, product stakeholders, and engineering teams • Own delivery from scoping through production handoff, including knowledge transfer

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience deploying machine learning, data engineering, and applied AI solutions at scale • Familiarity with LLM-based applications, model APIs, retrieval workflows, evaluation approaches, and production deployment patterns • Production experience with several technologies including Bedrock, SageMaker, Vertex AI, Glue, Airflow, Spark, Hadoop, Storm, time series databases, Parquet, Iceberg, Redshift, Kafka, Kinesis, BigQuery, Cassandra, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, dbt, Monte Carlo, and Databricks • Experience developing solutions and analyzing data in Python, R, and SQL • Excellence in data validation for LLM and ML solutions • Understanding of LLM fine-tuning and inference economics • Experience developing reliable forecasting solutions • Experience translating business problems and data opportunities into practical AI/ML solutions • Knowledge of modern data architecture across ingestion, transformation, governance, quality, and access • Strong judgment regarding model performance, system reliability, security, and maintainability in production • Ability to stay current with AI tooling, LLMs, and applied ML systems • Strong communication skills with engineering, product, data, and business stakeholders • Comfort supporting cross-company enablement through knowledge sharing and practical guidance • Ability to switch contexts and operate across multiple companies, teams, and priorities
