📋 Description
• Lead the development of new build civil nuclear design • Guide junior staff and CAD designers • Interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) • Collaborate with systems, nuclear safety, and civil engineering teams • Drive project deliverables at key milestones • Use proactive problem-solving and lateral thinking to resolve technical issues
🎯 Requirements
• BEng/MEng in Mechanical Engineering or relevant degree • IMechE chartership ideally • Strong technical strengths in plant layout design and optimization • Proven record of delivering quality results on time • Industry knowledge with nuclear experience preferred • Understanding of nuclear basics expected • Comfortable developing detailed technical CAD models
