📋 Description

• Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft Windows Server environments • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DFS, DHCP, IIS, RDS, Certificate Services, and Windows Failover Clustering • Support and manage enterprise virtualisation platforms including VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V/SCVMM • Support Azure infrastructure services • Develop and maintain PowerShell automation solutions • Contribute to infrastructure standardisation and operational efficiency • Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, technology refresh programmes, and cloud adoption initiatives • Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support knowledge • Contribute to service improvement activities • Work closely with engineers, developers, and customers to design, implement, and support resilient infrastructure solutions across on-premise and cloud environments • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of business-critical infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience supporting enterprise Microsoft Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, and 2022) • Extensive knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DFS, DHCP, Windows Failover Clustering, and Microsoft Certificate Services • Strong PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation experience • Experience administering VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V/SCVMM environments • Solid troubleshooting skills • Experience supporting business-critical production infrastructure within ITIL-based service management environments • Experience with Microsoft Azure services, Microsoft Defender technologies, and security monitoring solutions preferred • Knowledge of Intune, MECM/SCCM, WSUS, Azure DevOps, Git, Ansible, or Microsoft Sentinel preferred • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain SC Security Clearance • Must participate in a 24x7 on-call rota and provide occasional out-of-hours support for planned maintenance and critical incidents
