📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership for a critical part of Attio’s engineering organization • Work across teams to design significant parts of Attio’s infrastructure and align with technical strategy • Set standards for building and operating robust, maintainable, reliable, scalable, and secure software • Mentor and coach engineers • Help hire engineering talent • Share knowledge and support new approaches and experiments in software engineering • Optimize trade-offs between delivery and perfection for the business • Understand customers and users to deliver uniquely valuable experiences • Design and build software that creates delightful, groundbreaking user experiences • Resolve complex product issues

• First-class technical skills and ability to think in systems • Understanding of distributed, cloud-native systems • Ability to create interfaces that allow teams to innovate in parallel • Proven technical leadership credentials and track record of delivering projects through others • Ability to break down large, complex problems into smaller, independent goals • Understanding of how technical architecture impacts delivery and long-term system maintenance • Growth mindset and willingness to experiment with AI-era software engineering • Demonstrated impact through mentoring and coaching • Passion for hiring and growing engineering talent • Strong product and customer focus • Curiosity about product usage and ability to use data to guide product decisions
