📋 Description
• Provide first-line operational coverage for Barclays' Markets Technology function across US market hours • Monitor the KDB+ estate in real time • Perform data quality assurance • Oversee end-of-day jobs • Interrogate data across Equities, Credit, QIS, FX, Rates, Structured Products, and Prime asset classes • Apply SRE practices to incrementally improve operational monitoring capabilities • Collaborate with the Barclays KDB+ Core team • Support operations only; KDB+/Q development, platform architecture, standard library development, and bespoke reporting are explicitly excluded
🎯 Requirements
• Inside IR35 contractor arrangement • Availability to provide first-line operational coverage across US market hours • Experience with KDB+ operational support, real-time monitoring, data quality assurance, EOD job oversight, and data interrogation across supported asset classes • Ability to apply SRE practices • Ability to collaborate closely with the Barclays KDB+ Core team
