📋 Description

• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for the Biopharma Production Business • Provide technical expertise to sales representatives and customers during the sales process • Perform technical sales support at customer sites or on a multiple-site basis • Resolve technical product and service issues • Assist customers during the sales process to maximize benefits from Avantor products and services • Promote Avantor’s Fluid Handling and High Purity Chemicals value proposition for bioprocessing • Support the biopharma account management team with technical presentations and a consultative sales approach • Develop customer-tailored Single Use products and solutions with technical end users • Build and sustain customer business relationships and brand loyalty • Partner with sales management to drive Fluid Handling and Production Chemical revenue and portfolio growth • Align sales, account management, and product management teams to manage and execute customer opportunities efficiently • Identify and lead custom manufacturing opportunity development or refinement • Facilitate senior-level presentations to end customers • Use the CRM system for consistent reporting and information exchange

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline • Master’s degree preferred • 2+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing or selling to the biopharma industry • Valid driver’s license required • Microsoft Office proficiency, specifically Teams • Experience with CRM systems preferred • Key account sales and management experience preferred • Proven track record achieving sales targets preferred • Experience managing a sales pipeline preferred • Experience formulating and executing territory and account strategies preferred • Expected travel up to 25%
