📋 Description

• Lead complex renewal analyses across all lines of coverage, including non-marketed and negotiated plans • Evaluate claims experience, utilization trends, and financial performance to identify risks, opportunities, and cost drivers • Develop strategic, data-driven recommendations supporting long-term benefits planning and funding strategies • Lead development and execution of Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for assigned clients • Analyze and compare carrier proposals, identifying competitive positioning and financial impact • Support and actively participate in carrier negotiations with the Benefits Consultant • Develop and deliver advanced financial and management reporting, including scheduled and ad hoc reports • Present renewal analyses, performance results, and recommendations to client staff, committees, and leadership groups • Translate complex financial and healthcare data into clear, concise, client-focused insights • Partner with Benefits Consultants in strategic planning and design of client benefit programs • Act as a key analytical resource for assigned clients, supporting ongoing decision-making and plan optimization • Contribute to evaluating and recommending new services, vendors, or program enhancements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in employee benefits, analytics, brokerage, or consulting • Advanced experience with renewal and financial analysis, claims and utilization reporting, and RFP development and carrier evaluations • Strong knowledge of fully insured and self-funded benefit plans • Strong knowledge of employee benefits regulations, including ACA and COBRA • Public sector experience preferred
