• Drive sales, profitable growth, revenue, and account management across the Diagnostic Product Portfolio • Manage hospitals and clinical laboratories within the assigned territory • Develop and implement territory and strategic account sales plans • Create hospital-specific account plans based on economic and strategic business drivers • Articulate clinically relevant product features, benefits, and economic justification • Coordinate decision makers and influencers through the customer buying process to secure contractual purchase agreements • Maintain and grow base revenue and ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing customer contact • Collaborate with Instrument Specialists, Clinical Specialists, Lab Automation Specialists, National Accounts, Strategic Customer Group Leaders, Service Engineers, Applications Specialists, distribution partners, and Marketing • Attain or exceed sales plans and support the Diagnostic portfolio, including Manual Microbiology, Blood Culture, TB, ID/AST, and Molecular Diagnostics • Manage sales processes involving clinical laboratories, infectious disease clinicians, pharmacy, value analysis, hospital administration, purchasing, supply chain, and IT • Call on prospective customers, create demand, communicate medical and clinical benefits, and deliver product demonstrations • Develop customer acquisition strategies and execute coordinated team selling • Demonstrate product soft and hard costs and persuade decision makers to complete product conversions • Communicate customer needs, inventory and supply-chain updates, contract changes, and competitive intelligence to distributors • Conduct direct sales calls with distributors to protect existing sales and identify revenue opportunities • Maintain customer relationship management records, sales forecasts, selling activity, and close data • Provide post-sales support and coordinate installations with the Service organization • Manage expenses, administrative and call reporting, funnel and competitive data, contracts, renewals, company assets, and safety precautions • Follow Waters Values, Code of Conduct, and AdvaMed rules
• BA / BS in Life Sciences, biological areas, business or related field required • Degree in Medical Technology (MT ASCP) or Microbiology preferred • Minimum 3 years of laboratory products or hospital sales experience preferred • Experience with diagnostic product sales, hospital and clinical laboratory customers, and complex sales processes • Knowledge of selling processes and customer loyalty development • Preparation, presentation, and closing skills using direct sales, distribution channels, and/or team selling • Strong organizational, territory management, account assessment, and relationship development skills • Analytical and financially oriented skills applicable to contract proposals, profitability, budgets, and expense management • Ability to develop markets for new technology and medical practices • Excellent communication and interpersonal interaction skills • Working knowledge of MS Office applications, Salesforce.com, Power BI, and connectivity devices • Compliance with Salesforce.com documentation and timely sales activities • Valid state-issued driver's license and compliance with Waters auto safety standards • Ability to meet in-field customer engagement expectations, specifically engaging with six customers per week
