📋 Description

• Design and develop PostgreSQL database features and tools, focusing on ClickHouse real-time analytics • Review and refine team members' code contributions to ensure quality • Write and maintain regression tests for bug fixes and new features • Troubleshoot and resolve database, network, and software-related issues • Work within CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth integration and deployment • Advance EDB's analytics product portfolio, including ClickHouse initiatives, WarehousePG, PGAA, migration tools, monitoring systems, and performance optimizations

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of database internals development experience, preferably PostgreSQL • Proven upstream contributions or commits to the ClickHouse OSS project required • Deep expertise in at least one of C, C++, Rust, or Go systems programming • Experience with distributed query optimizers, such as Orca • Computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, operating system internals, and data structures • Proficiency in Linux-based software development and debugging • Experience optimizing analytical database system performance • Strong problem-solving skills in database and system troubleshooting • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
