• Identifies and strategically plans new growth for designated key accounts. • Establishes strategic relationships with trading partners relevant to assigned key accounts. • Ensures distribution, promotion, and pricing goals are delivered. • Negotiates program fees, item launches and time-to-fill. • Meets with and presents to key accounts virtually or in-person as needed. • Works directly with brokers and holds brokers accountable for sales performance pertaining to key accounts. • Provides recommendations on product mix to key accounts as needed. • Meets sales goals as established by management. • Collaborates with Director to execute company sales strategies and initiatives. • Assists Director to manage profitability against promotional budget and trade spending. • Assists in educating brokers and key accounts about Bob’s Red Mill and the company’s initiatives. • Attends tradeshows and tabletops as needed, available for business travel. • Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner. • Complies with Bob’s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). • Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager. • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
• 5 or more years of sales experience, preferably in the food distribution, brokerage, or food manufacturing industry, AND • Experience working with conventional and natural retail stores, AND • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; OR • Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.
