📋 Description

• Own technical strategy and delivery for provider-domain systems used daily by hundreds of thousands of independent businesses • Own end-to-end delivery across 4–5 cross-functional teams • Lead through Engineering Managers and Staff+ Engineers in a flat organizational structure • Set engineering standards for architecture decisions, technical proposals, and team ways of working • Lead the AI transformation of the engineering lifecycle and define success measures • Partner with Product to translate commercial strategy into engineering strategy • Support engineering strategy with experimentation and data • Build a high-performing team and coach autonomous leaders • Report to the Chief Technology Officer

🎯 Requirements

• Product-owner mindset, including understanding unit economics, funnels, growth mechanics, and commercial impact • Experience establishing engineering rigor through architecture decision records, technical proposals, and standardized ways of working adopted by teams • Practical experience embedding AI tooling into the engineering lifecycle • Ability to measure AI tooling impact and protect code quality • Experience leading multiple squads through Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers in a high-growth scale-up, high-transaction marketplace, or SaaS business • Conversational-level English language skills required • Experience with two-sided marketplaces or booking platforms preferred • Exposure to growth engineering or growth experimentation preferred • B2B SaaS experience at scale preferred
