• Support the thermal businesses and products by securing long-term total quality, delivery, cost efficiency, and sustainability of direct material supply throughout the product lifecycle • Manage supplier commercial relationships within assigned business areas • Develop and implement supplier strategies aligned with customer demands • Support new product development by setting supplier strategies, managing costs to meet product margin goals, and helping launch products to mass production • Manage supplier contracts, corporate agreements, annual pricing negotiations, awards, payment terms, and inventory • Develop and align supplier technical roadmaps with Sales and Engineering • Manage supplier performance and ratings using quality, delivery, and cost KPIs • Drive supplier and spend consolidation across multiple North American sites • Find, assess, and develop new suppliers • Assess and complete Purchase Price Variance activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reducing business impact • Support sites with supplier escalation, alternate sourcing, and secondary sourcing to maintain critical customer service levels • Travel internationally to support supplier development and product launch activities
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field • Minimum 5 years of business or procurement experience • Experience negotiating with suppliers in a low volume manufacturing business • Background in electronic components, including printed circuit board assembly, wire/cable assemblies, controls, and semiconductors • Background in thermal components, including pumps, fans, and compressors • Proficiency in MS Office applications: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology and assigned categories • Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills • Ability to manage strategic supplier relationships and multiple priorities • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary company information • Ability to travel up to 50% to domestic and/or international sites • Experience with metal fabrication technologies is a plus • Master’s Degree in business is desired • Leadership and change management experience is desired • Previous experience in a high mix / low volume manufacturing environment is desired • Experience in international supply chain management, incoterms, and landed costs is desired • Second language is ideal
