📋 Description

• Plan, organise and deliver management systems and Factory Production Control audits for certification schemes • Assess compliance against ISO standards, scheme requirements, and relevant industry criteria • Produce clear, accurate audit reports and submit them within agreed timescales • Review corrective actions and responses to non-conformities raised during audits • Build professional relationships with clients while maintaining audit independence • Manage audit schedule and travel arrangements to meet operational objectives • Support development of certification services and new customer engagements • Represent BRE during client visits, witnessed audits, and accreditation activities • Work remotely and travel extensively to client sites in the UK and internationally

🎯 Requirements

• Background in engineering, quality management, manufacturing, or a related technical discipline • Experience within manufacturing environments, particularly electronics, chemicals, polymers, metalworking, or similar industries • Knowledge of ISO management systems auditing, particularly ISO 9001 • Understanding of management system standards, Factory Production Control processes, and certification requirements • Strong organisational, planning, and report-writing skills • Excellent attention to detail and ability to make balanced, evidence-based decisions • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team • Willingness and ability to travel internationally for extended periods, sometimes for two weeks or more • Lead Auditor qualification is advantageous but not essential • ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 auditor qualifications are advantageous but not essential • Knowledge of BRE certification schemes, BS EN standards, or related industry requirements is advantageous but not essential
