• responsible for the full development life cycle • gathering requirements • high-level design • creating technical/functional specifications • development • write software collaboratively using pair programming and peer code reviews • write application code and unit tests in Java for microservice components • use Ruby and Python for automated testing and defining cloud infrastructure • mentor junior members
🎯 Requirements
• two or more years of employment as a software engineer • competent using Java, React and databases • substantial experience and expertise with pair programming and peer code reviewing • writing production quality applications in Java • effective team working and communication • cloud services, Amazon Web Services preferred • web based APIs • experience within a Java role previously using Java 7 or 8 • knowledge of Spring frameworks • understanding of SOLID • knowledge of TDD
