📋 Description

• Manage daily purchase order approvals for accurate coding and budget alignment • Ensure timely PO approval, accurate actual/budget mappings, and resolve discrepancies with stakeholders • Support monthly and quarterly close activities by preparing and reviewing expense accruals, amortization schedules, and reclasses • Prepare recurring management review packages covering OPEX, CAPEX, headcount, and trend reports • Provide insights for business reviews • Perform variance analysis of actuals versus budget, forecast, and prior period • Identify key drivers, communicate actionable insights, and track follow-ups through resolution • Provide guidance on expense recognition for prepaids, milestones, and capital expenditures • Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecast cycles by gathering budget-owner input, validating assumptions, consolidating submissions, and documenting key drivers • Support ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling for leadership decision-making and evolving business needs • Provide tactical financial support for Global Enabling Functions • Track and analyze departmental OPEX, headcount, and CAPEX spending • Support project and vendor spend visibility and process improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required • 2+ years of relevant experience in a financial planning role • Preferably experience in a pharma or biotech organization • Strong planning, reporting, and analytical skills • Demonstrated business and systems impact in previous roles • Strong computer software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI • Ability to work with large datasets from multiple systems to build insights and reporting • Experience using financial systems, including ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle • Experience with planning/reporting tools such as TM1, Hyperion, or Adaptive • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to balance strategic and operational priorities • Sound accounting/finance judgment • Ability to investigate drivers of results and improve forecast accuracy and spending discipline • Technical aptitude, collaboration, curiosity, and eagerness to improve processes • Minimal travel throughout the U.S. may be required • MBA or CPA preferred
