• Analyze DER performance to identify trends, optimization opportunities, and root causes of underperformance • Assist in preparing financial reports for DER assets, including revenue forecasting, performance-based incentive tracking, and cost analysis • Verify data accuracy against financial settlement statements, invoices, and market reports to ensure proper payment and billing • Reconcile DER performance data from data acquisition systems, utility portals, and third-party aggregators • Track DER project performance against financial targets and commercial obligations or performance guarantees • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies with internal teams including finance, operations, and engineering • Collaborate with external partners including utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and project developers • Maintain a verified tariff library supporting prospective-customer pre-sales modeling and existing-customer operations throughout the tariff lifecycle • Monitor ongoing utility changes and component expirations in tariff representations
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Public Policy, or related field • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, financial reconciliation, or a related role within the utility, energy, or technology sectors • Strong knowledge of utility regulatory processes, tariff structures, and rate design • Experience with time-series interval data, especially electric meter readings such as kW, kWh, and kVA • Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including distilling complex regulations into clear business guidance • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills • Experience in renewable energy, distributed generation, or energy storage markets preferred • Familiarity with FERC, ISO/RTO market rules, and state-level regulatory environments preferred • Advanced Excel and data validation skills; financial modeling tools experience a plus
