📋 Description

• Build and maintain relationships with local and state public safety agencies throughout the assigned territory • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding operational challenges and recommending tailored communication technology solutions • Develop new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships • Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement and opportunity development through closing and ongoing account growth • Collaborate across the organization to deliver exceptional customer experiences and foster long-term loyalty • Develop and execute territory strategies that drive revenue growth and support business objectives • Follow up on leads and customer opportunities to maximize engagement and business growth • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings • Advance MCA’s position as a trusted communications partner for public safety agencies • Travel regularly within the assigned territory to meet clients, attend events, and maintain customer relationships • Manage schedule and travel independently • No direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of sales or public safety experience preferred, OR 5+ years of direct sales or public safety experience • Proven expertise in public safety, gained through direct service or sales roles focused on public safety markets • Knowledge of Two-Way Radio, Land Mobile Radio, or critical communications is a plus • Track record of achieving performance goals and driving measurable results • Ability to build credibility with public safety stakeholders and understand operational challenges • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, service-first mindset • Ability to articulate product features, benefits, and value to customers • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently and manage priorities • High-energy, results-driven approach with attention to detail and accountability • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance • Ability to successfully pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check • Must reside in the state of Florida • Comfortable traveling independently within the assigned territory
