📋 Description

• Provide IT support across the business, escalating complex issues to the Head of IT where needed • Help manage and maintain the endpoint fleet of approximately 150 devices using Microsoft Intune, including compliance policies, configuration profiles, application packaging and deployment • Administer the Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams • Assist with the device lifecycle from provisioning through retirement, working with the logistics partner • Help maintain and improve the IT service desk, including workflows and reporting • Assist with hardware procurement and coordinate deployment, retrieval, repair and recycling with the logistics vendor • Support day-to-day management of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including investigating alerts and monitoring policies • Support security awareness initiatives • Contribute to security and compliance improvements • Develop automations using Power Automate, PowerShell, Python and APIs to reduce manual IT work • Support joiner/mover/leaver workflows, licence management, device provisioning and reporting • Contribute to IT projects across security, infrastructure and tooling • Work alongside the Head of IT and another IT Engineer in a small, supportive IT team

🎯 Requirements

• UK-based, with right to work in the UK - essential • Early to mid-career IT professional • Hands-on exposure to Microsoft 365 administration (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender) • Understanding of identity and access management and conditional access concepts • Comfortable troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, and cloud services • Strong interest in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, APIs) - prior experience is highly desirable, but not a requirement • Comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote environment, while knowing when to ask for support • Interest in AI tools and their application to IT operations • Exposure to Power Automate or similar workflow automation platforms is desirable • Familiarity with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Freshservice, Halo, or similar) is desirable • Previous work experience in a startup or scale-up environment is desirable • Ability to showcase something you’ve built or automated is desirable
