📋 Description

• Manage and mentor the End User Support Specialist • Coordinate support tickets from creation through resolution • Act as the escalation point for complex or high-stakes issues • Troubleshoot end-user issues directly and identify root causes and permanent fixes • Build a high-performance, data-oriented IT support culture • Support adoption of AI and automation across IT support workflows • Identify tools and approaches for efficient, cost-effective IT support • Automate personal processes and reporting where appropriate • Own IT procurement from vendor selection through relationship management • Purchase laptops and hardware for new hires in hard-to-reach or logistically complex countries • Monitor and audit vendor and provider performance • Develop procurement approaches for hardware and services across multiple countries • Manage and monitor core IT systems against agreed BAU standards • Ensure seamless global IT onboarding and offboarding • Communicate incidents and resolution plans to vendors and service providers • Collaborate with SRE, Security, and Workplace teams on IT security, compliance, and reliability

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT support or IT operations, including experience managing or mentoring a team • Comfortable using AI tools to automate workflows and improve support processes • Experience with user access management in a fast-moving, multi-SaaS environment • Experience with MDM and EDR products • Strong understanding of LAN and WLAN logical and physical infrastructures, including structured cabling, access layer switches, firewalls, and access points • Knowledge of Linux desktop and server systems and Mac operating systems • Familiarity with on-premise server hardware and operations • Confident using the command line interface in Linux and Mac environments • Understanding of how software development teams work and the tools they rely on • Solutions-oriented mindset and systems-thinking abilities • Financial discipline and budget awareness • Passion for and good knowledge of common Open Source Software products • English proficiency at C1 level or native speaker • Ability to work remotely as a contractor via Parity’s UK entity • Successful completion of a background check before contract signing
