📋 Description

• Create data models for moderate to advanced subjects • Create moderate to advanced ETL specifications to meet business data needs • Develop and maintain documentation, including current design and operation • Analyze data sources and research and recommend solutions, including potential risks and mitigation • Participate in long-term data warehouse and dashboard architecture planning • Participate in creating and managing data warehouse and analytics architectures for reference and solution development • Propose requirements, standards, and best practices for data modeling, ETL specifications, and data warehouse development • Review existing systems for compliance with established standards and to empower business operations • Conduct product and vendor research and present recommendations to database developers and/or management • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and equipment suppliers, including installation and repair of services • Work from home; occasional required or optional travel may occur

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of data design/data architecture experience and/or minimum 2 years of data warehouse architecture experience • Dimensional modeling experience • Data quality assessment • Proficiency with SQL • Agile/Scrum methodology • Source Target mapping • Data Analysis • Working knowledge/skills of Microsoft SQL Server • Working knowledge of cloud data warehousing tools such as Snowflake or Redshift • Working knowledge/skills of ETL tools such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory • Advanced troubleshooting of system performance issues and root cause • Working knowledge/skills of unit and integration testing • Ability to see, read, and perform repetitive finger and wrist movement for at least 6 hours/day • Ability to hear and speak clearly for at least 3–6 hours/day • Candidates should reside in Oregon or Southwest Washington; priority will be given to candidates residing in Oregon and Southwest Washington
