📋 Description

• Build and run cargo.one’s FP&A and strategic finance function as a one-person function • Own monthly business performance reporting, budgeting, planning, and investment cases • Make the reporting process reliable, secure, automated, and close to hands-free • Decide what to report, how often, and to whom, then automate it end to end • Help design commission and bonus plans • Build an agent to track and report commission and bonus results and push them into payroll • Raise and ensure data quality • Establish and run the controlling and business-partnering rhythm with P&L owners • Build benchmarks for organisational effectiveness, AI initiative returns, and team efficiency • Turn benchmarks into capital allocation decisions • Drive the annual budget process alongside the CFO • Contribute to papers and presentations for SLT and board meetings • Report to the CFO and partner with finance, legal, people, senior leadership, and extended leadership teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years owning or scrutinising the numbers of B2B SaaS, usage based or platform businesses, as an operator, investor, or in strategic finance • Understanding of unit economics and profitability, including which levers to pull • Built something real with AI that someone relies on, not a demo • Experience with AI architecture, repeatability, quality, and security • Ability to lead without authority • S-tier communication skills • Endless curiosity and significant grit • Must work remotely in a time zone within +/- two hours of Berlin time • Selected-country hiring eligibility applies • Permanent full-time availability
