📋 Description
• Design, implement, and maintain virtualized environments using platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM. • Manage server consolidation, clustering, and resource optimization to ensure performance and scalability. • Integrate virtualization platforms with storage, networking, and backup solutions. • Monitor system health, capacity, and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues. • Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives within virtual environments. • Implement and maintain security best practices for virtual machines, hypervisors, and management consoles. • Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to streamline automation and improve deployment efficiency. • Provide technical support to customers and reseller partners on virtualization design and troubleshooting.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent field • 5+ years of experience in virtualization engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure operations. • Hands-on expertise with VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, or other enterprise virtualization platforms. • Familiarity with storage technologies (SAN/NAS), networking, and backup solutions. • Strong understanding of datacenter operations, cloud integration, and automation tools (PowerCLI, Ansible). • Knowledge of security controls and compliance frameworks within virtualized environments. • Certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or CompTIA Server+ are a plus. • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
