📋 Description

• Work closely with the project director or operations director to develop project charters • Manage components of project design and implementation plans • Manage and report on project budgets and timelines • Support supplier specifications and contractual negotiations • Manage execution of contract plans • Manage engagement with external consultants and outsourced resources for material handling equipment, warehouse and business systems, building modifications, and other services • Coordinate activities with project and operations directors and internal project teams • Assist with capital expenditure requests • Manage project completion, including construction/installation, inspection, testing, training, and start-up • Travel up to 75% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Four-year bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, accountancy, sales, marketing, logistics, computer sciences, or similar, or equivalent combination of experience and education • Minimum five years of directly related and progressively responsible experience • Knowledge and experience leading projects related to warehouse operations, warehouse design, warehouse and business systems, process improvement and standardization, engineered labor standards, and transportation • Effective oral and written communication skills • Ability to work with people from different technical and business backgrounds • Ability to lead and energize work teams • Analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate difficult or sensitive information tactfully • Strong presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Access databases, Word, and AutoCAD • Prior consulting, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen experience is beneficial
