• Central: kills back-office work for startups—payroll, benefits, compliance, accounting, taxes, and more • Architect mission-critical workflows: design, build, maintain stateful, end-to-end systems ensuring data integrity and compliance • Iterate rapidly: ship incremental, production-ready features in days; prototype, gather user feedback, refine • Own your domain: act as technical product lead for core platform areas; set standards for code quality, observability, testing, and operations • Delight and empower customers: partner with Product and Support to translate pain points into scalable solutions • Push the limits with AI: leverage AI to automate previously impossible tasks and create new user experiences

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced systems architect: designed and delivered large-scale, stateful architectures • Distributed-transaction specialist: implemented two-phase commits, sagas, idempotency, compensating actions • Deep transactional-pipeline expertise: reconciled workflows with audit trails and automated recovery for financial/compliance operations • Reliability-first mindset: observability (metrics, logs, alerts), fault tolerance, graceful degradation • Scalability & performance focus: caching, queueing, rate-limiting, tuning for growth without sacrificing latency or correctness • Strategic thinker & communicator: document designs, align cross-functional stakeholders • Bias toward action & high standards: ship prototypes quickly and ensure production-ready quality
