📋 Description

• Join the Centro Engineering team to build internal and external user-facing products • Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Golang on the backend and React with Typescript on the frontend • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software that meets user needs and business goals • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Golang • Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React with Typescript that meet accessibility standards • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help define, design, and ship new features • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing • Identify and correct application performance bottlenecks and fix bugs • Maintain technical documentation

🎯 Requirements

• At least three years of professional experience working as a Software Engineer • Experience breaking down features from Figma designs into reusable components • Proficiency in Typescript and Golang, as well as common libraries for each • Experience working with ORMs and web frameworks • Experience working with testing frameworks, differing testing strategies and modern testing tools • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • Experience with version control systems, such as Git • Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Experience working in the insurance industry (nice to have) • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have) • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (nice to have) • Experience with monitoring and observability tooling, such as DataDog (nice to have)
