📋 Description
• Follow departmental policies to collect data for the verification and evaluation of medical staff credentials • Obtain primary source verification of professional credentials for applicants to the medical staff and practices • Collect data and prepare medical staff reappointment files for committee and physician presentations • Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive practitioner-specific information • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely information in the credentials software system • Assist in maintaining systems that track expiring documents • Assist in preparing and updating required documents • Prepare reports and release sensitive practitioner-specific information with discretion • Respond to queries regarding pending application status • Perform other duties as assigned
🎯 Requirements
• Associate Degree required • Minimum three (3) years of experience required • CPCS certification required • CPMSM certification required • MD staff experience preferred
