📋 Description

• Build ClickHouse Cloud's billing and metering platform • Design and build mission-critical processes that support billing operations • Create and justify technical decisions and solutions for peers and stakeholders • Deliver secure, efficient, mature, and highly available frameworks and platforms • Abstract away infrastructure complexity • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to define business strategies, user needs, and optimal solutions • Integrate with billing, metering, logging, monitoring, support, and other external systems • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to improve reliability, scalability, privacy, security, observability, accuracy, and compliance

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant software development industry experience building front-end systems running on the cloud • Hands-on development experience leading and shipping large-scope technical projects with multiple experienced engineers • Proficiency with TypeScript, Serverless, EKS, SQS, Mongo, Node.js, and React • Proficiency in multiple programming languages preferred • Experience with billing concepts including credit card processing, usage-based billing, metering, CSP marketplaces (AWS, GCP, Azure), invoicing, sales tax, auditing, and record-keeping • Experience building and operating high-scale, distributed systems across the full software life cycle • Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and its infrastructure-as-a-service offering • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within and across engineering teams • Strong problem-solving and production-debugging skills • High responsibility, ownership, and accountability • Authorization to work in the United States without future visa sponsorship
