📋 Description

• Design, build, and evolve scalable distributed backend systems and high-throughput data processing pipelines • Develop reliable, high-performance services focused on concurrency, efficiency, and fault tolerance • Design and improve event-driven architectures, asynchronous workflows, and distributed coordination mechanisms • Solve challenges involving consistency, retries, idempotency, deduplication, backpressure, and failure recovery • Make architectural decisions involving distributed storage, messaging systems, and data processing strategies • Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks, improving throughput, latency, resource utilization, and infrastructure cost efficiency • Drive architectural improvements and modernization of existing systems while maintaining production stability • Own critical services end-to-end, from technical design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and production operations • Lead technical design discussions, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and establish engineering best practices • Collaborate across engineering teams to define technical direction, develop platform capabilities, and solve complex cross-service challenges

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced software engineer with strong experience designing, building, and operating complex production backend systems • Deep understanding of distributed systems fundamentals, concurrency, asynchronous processing, consistency, and fault tolerance • Strong proficiency in Go, or comparable backend programming experience with the ability to become productive in Go • Experience designing and operating systems using messaging technologies such as Kafka, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, or AWS SQS
