📋 Description

• Plan with AI, drive coding agents, and critically review their output • Work directly with business colleagues to gather requirements, align on solutions, and build working software • Make architecture and data-model decisions while keeping systems fast and reliable at scale • Take ownership of existing applications and build new solutions for the affiliate business • Design and develop event-driven backend systems handling large volumes of product and campaign data • Develop primarily in Rust and partly in Python • Own topics end to end and keep the team and stakeholders informed • Contribute to engineering culture, team tools, processes, and knowledge sharing • Discuss realistic goals with the hiring team and demonstrate an AI-assisted approach instead of completing a classic coding test

🎯 Requirements

• Experience contributing to a strong engineering culture, e.g. through code reviews, knowledge sharing, or improving team tools and ways of working • Daily hands-on work with coding agents, including planning with AI, delegating implementation, and reviewing outputs • Strong architectural awareness • Rust experience, or curiosity about Rust and readiness to make it the main language • C or C++ experience is a strong alternative • Experience solving problems in e-commerce, affiliate marketing, Google Shopping, Google Ads, or other data-heavy web platforms is ideal • Experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS, or similar • Solid grasp of the full engineering process: requirements, design, trade-offs, testing, and maintainability • Mid- or senior-level experience • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field • Business-fluent English (C1) • TypeScript / Next.js experience is a plus but not required
