📋 Description

• Provide legal advice, expertise, and support in all areas of law affecting the EMEA business • Provide direct sales support to EMEA • Work on commercial deals within the partner ecosystem, including OEMs, VARs, and channel partners • Work closely with internal staff on cross-functional teams • Negotiate business agreements with customers and channel partners for new and follow-on business • Ensure agreements comply with company policies and guidelines • Prepare contract paperwork • Advise management on contractual rights and obligations • Mitigate contractual and channel partner program risks • Compile and analyze data • Maintain historical information • Balance competing priorities against business needs and determine when to seek executive-level direction • Liaise with law firms regarding potential litigation

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree required • 7+ years of post-qualification experience working with a law firm or as an in-house counsel • Special focus in the IT industry • Good experience working in the EMEA region • Strong understanding of local work customs and cultures • Knowledge of legal issues affecting software companies operating in the EMEA region, including data privacy, open-source software and SaaS, IP protection, employment, and general corporate issues • Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills • Requisite personal computer skills • Strong internal/external customer service skills • Superior communication skills • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
