📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate full-stack features that power Confluent Cloud’s growth — from backend APIs to user-facing experiences. • Collaborate with partners to define, implement, and analyze experiments that improve user activation, retention, and expansion. • Develop reliable, performant, and maintainable backend services in Go, deployed to Kubernetes. • Build rich, intuitive frontend experiences in React, Redux, and TypeScript that guide users through key onboarding and upgrade flows. • Use tools like LaunchDarkly, Amplitude, Segment, Grafana, and OpenSearch to monitor outcomes, measure success, and inform future iterations. • Contribute to the team’s operational excellence through code reviews, design discussions, and shared ownership of production systems.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally across both backend and frontend development. • Proficiency in Go (or another statically typed backend language such as Java, C++, or Rust). • Experience building complex frontend applications with React, Redux, and TypeScript. • Strong understanding of cloud-native development. • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment. • A data-informed mindset — experience using experimentation, analytics, or observability tools to guide decisions. • Strong collaboration, communication, and ownership skills.
