📋 Description

• IT VDI Senior Consultant, a member of ContiTech IT Infrastructure provides Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Services in order to ensure maintenance of systems in line with the information security procedures and policies. • Includes also Service Management for the VDI service, on a global base: • 3rd Level Support for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure based on Vmware (Omnissa) Horizon (Design. Operation. Maintenance, Monitoring, Testing and Troubleshooting) as well as Azure Virtual Desktop. • Support and Knowledge transfer to 2nd Level Support. • Development of scripts for automation and reporting via PowerShell and Vmware Orchestrator. • Change Management for VDI Service.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience and expected skills on expert level in Client and Server Operating System, Active Directory. • VMware Sphere, VMware Horizon for design, operation, monitoring and projects; • A broad IT support and design background covered the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure experience is a prerequisite: • 3rd Level Support for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure based on Vmware (Omnissa) Horizon (Design. Operation. Maintenance, Monitoring, Testing and Troubleshooting) as well as Azure Virtual Desktop. • Support and Knowledge transfer to 2nd Level Support. • Development of scripts for automation and reporting via PowerShell and Vmware Orchestrator;. • Change Management for VDI Service. • Basics on MS SQL Database: • Basics on IT Process Knowledge (ITIL): • Basics on Cloud (VMC on AWS + Azure Vmware Solution) + native Azure; • Advanced on IT Infrastructure Knowledge (Server, Storage, Network, PC Clients...): • Advanced on Scripting (e.g. PowerShell) and Automation (e.g. Vmware Orchestrator): • Expert on Client Operating Systems (Win10 & 11 + Ubuntu); • Expert on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Vmware/Omnissa Horizon) and Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
