📋 Description

• Understand all data assets and services, their relationships, and data flows between systems • Provide architectural guidance and solutions for new business initiatives and changes to existing data models • Design, deliver, and maintain data architecture focused on standards, growth, performance, flexibility, reliability, and scalability • Design, develop, and maintain data models • Design and develop complex ETL jobs and data flows • Provide guidance to the development team and contribute to new application features • Optimize performance and improve data pipelines, ETL processes, queries, analytics tools, and other data processes • Lead data migration projects • Lead archiving and warehousing initiatives • Collaborate on data quality improvement projects • Collaborate with the security team to safeguard and secure data • Participate in quality assurance activities • Create technical documentation • Work with engineering to install, configure, and deploy SQL Server instances and database environments • Support and maintain several SQL Server environments • Troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents • May include supervisory or mentoring responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related area (data science, mathematics, statistics etc.) • 10+ years in Information Technology • 7+ years of experience using SQL Server • 5+ years of database design, data modeling and ETL development • Experience in designing SQL Server environments • Demonstrated ability to manage and see-through long-term projects • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively • Proactive working style with the ability to adapt to change • Excellent organizational and communication skills are required • Must be able to work well individually without supervision as well as part of a team
