📋 Description

• Lead early-stage solution strategy and innovation shaping for emerging healthcare opportunities • Identify, frame, and refine high-value innovation opportunities across payer, provider, life science, and patient-facing healthcare domains • Support Project Vanguard by shaping solution pathways for Validiti 2.0 and Validiti 3.0 diversification into adjacent and new healthcare markets • Translate emerging technology capabilities into operationally credible, economically coherent, and commercially meaningful business narratives • Bridge business-unit leaders, product stakeholders, healthcare subject matter experts, researchers, architects, AI specialists, and solution development teams • Identify linked solution value, cross-business-unit leverage, and broader platform or ecosystem opportunities • Define solution opportunities that reduce friction between payers and providers and leverage Cotiviti’s healthcare ecosystem position • Ground innovation concepts in healthcare workflows, reimbursement dynamics, adoption barriers, staffing constraints, and business economics • Partner with healthcare technology research, advanced AI research, architecture, and solution innovation development leaders • Develop future-facing solution hypotheses informed by healthcare market evolution, workflow change, and enabling technology • Communicate and evangelize innovation opportunities to executive and functional stakeholders • Build support for opportunities that are not yet widely understood • Evaluate internal development, partnership, and ecosystem pathways for new solution innovation • Hire, develop, coach, lead, and retain top-tier talent • Build and improve a team and culture supporting best-in-class practices and high customer satisfaction • Complete annual performance review/goal-setting responsibilities and assigned special projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, health informatics, information systems, engineering, public health, or a related field • Advanced degree preferred • 10+ years of experience in healthcare strategy, solution strategy, healthcare consulting, innovation strategy, product strategy, healthcare operations, or a closely related field • 5+ years of leadership experience working across cross-functional business and technical teams • Demonstrated fluency across multiple healthcare domains such as payment integrity, risk adjustment, quality, fraud, waste and abuse, value-based care, consumer or patient engagement, payer operations, provider operations, revenue cycle, digital health, or related solution areas • Experience translating between executive priorities, operational realities, technical possibilities, and commercial implications • Experience framing solution opportunities, pilots, prototypes, business cases, or strategic options in complex enterprise environments • Experience evaluating or shaping solutions involving AI, automation, analytics, workflow orchestration, predictive modeling, digital health ecosystems, or related emerging technologies • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence business-unit leaders, product stakeholders, researchers, architects, and builders • Strong analytical and synthetic thinking, with the ability to connect disparate signals into coherent opportunity spaces • Experience working across matrixed enterprises and cross-business-unit initiatives preferred • Experience across payer and provider environments preferred • Experience in management consulting, enterprise transformation, or healthcare strategic advisory environments preferred • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities • Ability to move fluidly between healthcare business economics, workflow realities, market direction, and enabling technology • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain and advocate complex solution concepts to executives and senior leaders • Ability to distinguish between interesting ideas and viable solution pathways • Bias to action with sound judgment in ambiguous and emerging problem spaces • Ability to challenge assumptions, broker alignment, and build credibility across diverse stakeholder groups • Strong innovation mindset balanced by practical discipline, operational realism, and commercial judgment • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance • Occasional travel for conferences, leadership meetings, and strategic planning sessions required • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
