📋 Description

• Manage and grow the NextGear Capital portfolio within the Fort Lauderdale, Florida territory • Optimize clients’ use of lines of credit ranging from $50k to $2.5M • Act as a floor plan subject matter expert for assigned clients • Build and maintain client relationships • Engage clients in person or virtually to achieve company goals and performance targets • Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and maximize profitability through prudent account management, controlled growth, and risk mitigation • Educate and coach clients on performance behaviors, self-service options, best practices, company policies, and expectations • Collect and analyze client financial information, internal reports, and dashboards to monitor dealer performance • Address dealer performance issues to drive growth and manage risk • Support Risk and Recovery with pre-default risk mitigation and post-default collection efforts • Identify and report client or internal non-compliance, attempted or actual fraud, and other circumstances requiring company protection • Document activities and client interactions in Salesforce • Develop Cox Automotive cross-business-unit relationships and opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field • Alternative qualifications: master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field in lieu of a degree • Related experience may include finance, client-facing, B2B, account management and/or collections • Knowledge of the automotive industry and finance industry • Strong financial acumen and working knowledge of key financial tools and terminology • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal, time management, negotiation, collection, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and in a remote environment • Ability to maintain safety awareness and take necessary safety precautions • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Salesforce • Ability to travel, fly, and drive; greater than 25% travel with some overnight travel required • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods • Valid driver’s license required • Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future • Must clear a pre-employment drug test • Spanish speaking highly preferred • Automotive and/or floorplan industry background highly preferred • Financial knowledge and acumen preferred
