📋 Description

• Conduct a mixture of Government engagements as part of the CHECK scheme and commercial-level engagements • Perform penetration testing across a wide range of technologies in the service catalogue • Document findings in technical reports submitted to clients • Identify vulnerabilities and provide sensible recommendations for remediation • Travel to and work from client and Wavenet locations as required • Attend visits that may involve overnight hotel stays • Work within the Penetration Testing team at Wavenet CyberGuard

🎯 Requirements

• Currently hold CHECK Team Member (CTM) status and have a minimum of two years currency at this level • Hold UK Cyber Security Council (UKCSC) accreditation of Practitioner Cyber Security Professional (PraCSP) or higher • Prior history and demonstrable experience in the delivery of IT security engagements • Solid understanding of computer networking and Operating Systems, in particular *Nix systems • Good background and understanding of cybersecurity • Knowledge of penetration testing frameworks and methodologies • Strong client facing skills • Ability to interact with all colleagues as a team player • Good grasp of English language and grammar • Ability to produce detailed reports outlining identified vulnerabilities and sensible remediation recommendations • Personal time management and organisation, with ability to meet tight turnaround times and deadlines • Existing UK Security Check (SC) clearance as a minimum • Ability to hold and retain further enhanced security clearance levels as required by the business • Lack of a degree is not a bar to application • Desirable: experience of scripting and coding languages • Desirable: certifications such as Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) and/or experience with online cyber security training platforms • Desirable: own method of transport
