📋 Description

• Lead and execute the security authorization process for systems and applications in compliance with NIST guidelines and DoD regulations • Navigate the RMF lifecycle and develop security documentation • Conduct risk assessments and ensure systems meet security and compliance standards • Coordinate with COTR and Sponsor Staff management on technical and operational effectiveness • Recommend continuous improvements to cyber defense processes and architectures • Support analysis, incident handling, reporting products, and the reporting lifecycle • Ensure effective operation of Agency IT systems and network defenses • Provide incident response capabilities and situational-awareness reports • Maximize existing tools to correlate information and synthesize data into actionable events • Automate manual and inefficient cyber defense processes • Recommend and implement technical solutions with the Sponsor

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field • 3 years minimum of relevant experience • Experience in security risk assessment and management in cloud environments (GCP preferred) • Experience building authorization packages • US Citizenship required • Active Secret clearance or interim Secret clearance required • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
