📋 Description
• Own design across a key product surface. • Roll up your sleeves on flows, prototypes, and product narratives. • Drive clarity in fuzzy spaces and help teams make confident decisions. • Coach designers to build great judgment and autonomy. • Run crisp design rituals: feedback, critique, planning, retros. • Set and enforce quality standards — what “good” looks like here. • Build tight partnerships with PM and Engineering leads. • Connect design to business outcomes — activation, adoption, renewal. • Make design visible and valued through storytelling and wins. • Foster psychological safety + direct, respectful feedback. • Model curiosity, humility, and high accountability. • Help build a healthy design org in partnership with Strategic Design & Research peers.
🎯 Requirements
• 7+ years in product design, with 2+ years leading designers • Experience shipping complex product systems or enterprise SaaS • Strong taste — and the ability to teach what makes work compelling • Calm presence. Low ego. Bias toward action over theater. • Able to turn ambiguity into clarity and momentum.
