📋 Description

• Support mission-critical projects focused on BAS, PMS/EPMS, controls integration, and smart building solutions • Provide technical and project leadership for planning and designing BAS/PMS and integrated control systems • Develop and maintain DLB controls, BAS, EPMS, and specification standards • Oversee subconsultant scopes of work, SOOs, construction drawings, technical specifications, and deliverables • Coordinate with project teams, MEP engineers, contractors, vendors, software engineers, project managers, and clients • Create and manage design drawings, sequences of operations, and specifications • Assist with AutoCAD and Revit engineering drawings, including floor plans, system architecture, wiring, and control panel diagrams • Coordinate BAS-related items with MEP trades • Identify scope changes and help minimize cost and schedule impacts • Manage project deliverables when not the lead design engineer • Develop, document, review, and train staff on BAS and EPMS standards • Manage and review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, punch lists, and closeout documents • Assist with onsite BAS audits, feasibility studies, and retrofit surveys • Prepare project progress and departmental reports and administer project contracts • Leverage AI and digital tools to improve efficiency and support innovative workflows • Travel approximately 10% to U.S. client sites, partner offices, or company events

🎯 Requirements

• B.A./B.S. degree in Engineering, construction, or related disciplines • Minimum of 5 years of experience in BAS controls systems engineering • Advanced knowledge of open-source protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and SNMP • Knowledge of IoT and smart building solutions • Knowledge of typical data center control redundancy strategies • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools for mission-critical or commercial buildings • Skilled in Revit and AutoCAD • Skilled in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and optimize processes • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment with effective communication, organization, self-motivation, proactiveness, and resourcefulness • Ability to identify and analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions • Ability to follow company and site safety requirements • Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written technical and non-technical formats • Ability to communicate directly with clients and sometimes serve as primary client contact • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with moderate supervision • Ability to plan and delegate work effectively • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to meet physical demands, including frequently remaining stationary, moving through office/facility environments, and occasionally moving equipment up to 25 pounds • Ability to travel approximately 10% to U.S. client sites, partner offices, or company events
