📋 Description

• Support mission-critical projects focused on BAS, PMS/EPMS, controls integration, and smart building solutions • Provide technical and project leadership for planning and design of BAS/PMS and integrated control systems • Develop and maintain DLB controls, BAS, and EPMS standards and specifications • Oversee subconsultant scopes, Statements of Objectives, construction drawings, and technical specifications • Review subconsultant deliverables for completeness, accuracy, project alignment, codes, regulations, and QA/QC compliance • Coordinate with project teams, outsource partners, MEP engineers, contractors, vendors, software engineers, project managers, and clients • Create and manage project deliverables, including drawings, sequences of operations, and specifications • Assist with AutoCAD and Revit engineering drawings, including floor plans, system architecture, point-to-point wiring, and control panel diagrams • Coordinate BAS-related items with MEP trades • Identify scope changes and help minimize impacts on costs and schedules • Manage project deliverables when not serving as lead design engineer • Provide training and support regarding standards implementation and compliance • Assist with construction administration, including shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, punch lists, and closeout documents • Assist with and manage onsite BAS engineering reviews, audits, feasibility studies, and retrofit surveys • Prepare and oversee project progress reports and departmental reports • Handle project contract administration • Leverage AI and digital tools to improve efficiency and support high-quality work • Serve as technical lead or project point of contact and coordinate engineering and production staff • Travel approximately 10% to client sites, partner offices, or company events across the United States

🎯 Requirements

• B.A./B.S. degree in Engineering, construction, or related disciplines • Minimum of 8 years of experience in BAS controls systems engineering • Advanced knowledge of open-source protocols, including BACnet, Modbus, and SNMP • Knowledge of IoT and smart building solutions • Knowledge of typical data center control redundancy strategies • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction of mission-critical or commercial buildings • Skilled in Revit and AutoCAD • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and optimize processes • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment • Ability to identify and analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions • Ability to follow company and site safety requirements • Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence • Effective oral and written communication of technical and non-technical information • Ability to communicate directly with clients and serve as primary client contact when needed • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with moderate supervision • Ability to plan and delegate the work of others • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to remain stationary frequently, move through office/facility environments, and occasionally move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
