📋 Description

• Build the platform used by every ElevenLabs team • Own infrastructure supporting GPU clusters that train and serve AI models and the cloud platform used by product teams • Work directly with research, product, security and safety engineers • Launch new infrastructure and scale it as team needs grow • Lead migrations and platform improvements to improve reliability, security and cost efficiency • Run and scale Kubernetes clusters, including GPU clusters for inference and training, across cloud and on-premises environments • Set up compute, networking, permissions and access for other teams • Host and operate data systems used by product teams • Build tooling, automations and services that make infrastructure self-serve, mainly in Python • Lead large efforts such as cluster builds and cloud migrations end to end

🎯 Requirements

• Deep, hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production at scale • Strong experience with GCP, including designing, building and migrating cloud infrastructure end to end as an individual contributor • Strong Python skills and a habit of solving infrastructure problems with code and automation • Experience operating stateful systems, including databases and Kafka, on behalf of other engineering teams • Solid fundamentals in infrastructure as code, security and permissions • Pragmatism to prioritise what matters in a fast-moving environment • Required current country of residence for application • Required GitHub profile link • Required LinkedIn profile link • Bonus: experience with GPU clusters or ML training/inference infrastructure, such as vLLM • Bonus: on-premises/bare-metal or deep networking experience • Bonus: open-source contributions in the cloud-native community
