📋 Description

• Establish stable operations for the Ember Labs platform, including infrastructure, site performance, deployment workflow via Webflow and GitHub, and incident response • Document operational processes so Ember staff can operate the platform beyond the engagement • Establish and oversee a rapid Labs-to-Production product journey from scoping and approval through AI-assisted build, deployment, evaluation, improvement, retirement, or full build for Ember’s main website • Enable and empower non-technical teams to build AI-assisted no-code data tools for publication as experiments on Ember Labs • Establish an internal Labs cohort model and project-manage Labs tool development • Provide training on AI-assisted tool-building, including Claude Artifacts and Claude Code • Improve the quality of AI-assisted products through guidelines, training data, data-quality and brand-alignment governance, learning processes, and rapid resolution when quality thresholds are not met • Measure experiment performance among target users and provide feedback for iterative improvements and future product-pipeline decisions • Work with Ember’s Policy, Comms, and Data Teams to develop processes for graduating tools to Ember’s main WordPress site, coordinating with the web agency as needed • Ensure cost-effective delivery and monitor the project budget • Recommend a long-term vision for Ember Labs to accelerate live intelligence delivery for energy decision-makers

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of product management experience, including product-performance measurement, persona-specific external feedback, internal learning and reflection, user and journey mapping, product-impact articulation, and product-impact improvement • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or similar • Experience deploying and embedding static and server-backed web tools using GitHub Pages, Google Cloud Run, or similar • Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks such as Svelte, React, or Vue • Experience with AI-assisted development and understanding of its strengths and pitfalls • Experience with web security when managing web development projects • Experience writing and providing internal training sessions • Fluency with project-management tools such as ClickUp, Monday, or Asana • Ability to work with technical and non-technical colleagues and explain deployment and product decisions clearly • Fluent spoken and written English • Nice to have: experience running product labs • Nice to have: experience with design systems and component libraries such as Storybook • Nice to have: experience building or maintaining a WordPress site • Nice to have: experience coordinating between a team and contracted agencies
