• Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to exceed Industrial Automation sales targets within the assigned territory • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market trends to drive revenue growth • Build and maintain a sales pipeline focused on customer acquisition, opportunity creation, and closure • Conduct market research and competitive analysis • Engage channel partners to grow sales and market share and manage targets and joint business development plans • Maintain relationships with key Industrial Automation customers • Understand customer needs, provide technical expertise, and offer aligned solutions • Address customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction • Prepare sales reports covering activity, customer feedback, and market trends • Provide accurate sales forecasts and participate in annual budgeting • Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and emerging FLMC technologies • Collaborate with the IA Business Manager on product development alignment • Develop product portfolio expertise for Industrial Automation industries including Chemical, Industrial Machinery, and Life Science • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for customers • Lead and grow an established territory covering Industrial Automation customers and channel partners
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industrial sales experience • Minimum of 2 years of related sales experience • Technical proficiency to understand technical issues and troubleshoot problems • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with ability to build rapport, establish trust, and close deals • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines • Willingness and ability to travel 25%–35% with overnight and extended travel days within the assigned territory • Valid U.S. driver’s license • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future • Automation sales experience preferred • Automotive experience preferred • Mechanical, electrical, process control, fluid power, or fluid control technical aptitude preferred
