• Cultivate customer relationships by addressing needs and maximizing Empower products and service benefits • Conduct scheduled appointments to uncover outside asset opportunities • Close identified outside asset opportunities and quarterback onboarding of outside assets • Present holistic, goal-based planning solutions for education, retirement, and intermediate- to long-term savings goals • Use Empower’s conversation model and interactive planning tools to identify participant needs and deliver next steps • Manage time and pipeline according to customer needs and relationship-expansion likelihood • Use Salesforce CRM to document conversations, manage follow-ups, and track account-transfer opportunities • Partner with relationship management and advisory teams to prioritize asset-consolidation appointments • Hand off closed assets to the relationship management team • Meet bi-monthly sales and conversation targets to earn incentive compensation • Attend staff meetings and product seminars/training as assigned • Comply with federal and state securities and insurance regulations • Support strategic department and firm initiatives
• FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 (or 66) registrations required • 3+ years of financial industry experience with demonstrated sales success required • Exceptional listening, verbal, and presentation skills • In-depth understanding of retail investment vehicles and qualified retirement plans • FINRA fingerprinting required • Passion for helping mass-affluent customers structure and reach intermediate to long term savings goals • Motivated self-starter with drive to thrive in a high velocity, senior sales environment • Ability and desire to quickly learn and implement new financial tools, computer systems, and conversation expectations • Team-first and customer-first mentality • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills • Working knowledge of retirement plans • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT, unavailable • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and a minimally disruptive home workspace
